Public Speaking

Public Speaking aims to promote self-awareness and confidence of our pupils. Public Speaking competitions run throughout the year and include the following:

Competitions include;

• Knights of Columbanus

• Young Soroptomist

• Omagh Young Farmers Public Speaking Competition

• Euro Quiz

• Mary Ward Public Speaking in conjunction with sister Loreto schools

• Debating NI
• Environmental compeitions.

Mary Ward Public Speaking Competition

A very special day was shared with our sister school, Loreto Coleraine for the Mary Ward Public Speaking Competition on 16th May 2023.

The adjudicators award went to Isabella, Year 8, for a very sincere and maturely delivered speech on the topic of, "Honesty is always the best policy."
