Systematic Study of one Religion: AS Unit 5 – The Celtic Church in Ireland in the Fifth, Sixth and Seventh centuries OR AS Unit 6 – An Introduction to Islam OR Religion and Ethics: AS Unit 7 – Foundations of Ethics with Special Reference to issues in Medical Ethics

Textual Study: A2 Unit 1 – Themes in the Synoptic Gospels OR A2 Unit 2 – Themes in the Selected Letters of St Paul

Systematic Study of one Religion: A2 Unit 5 – Themes in the Celtic Church, Reformation and Post-Reformation Church OR A2 Unit 6 – Islam in a Contemporary Context OR A2 Unit 7 – Religion and Ethics – Global Ethics.

– Two 1 hour 20 minutes externally assessed written papers –  40%

A2

– Two 2 hour externally assessed written papers – 60%
