JCQ AI Use in Assessments Update

The updated JCQ AI Use in Assessments guidance has been published.

The guidance is designed to help students and teachers to complete NEAs, coursework and other internal assessments successfully. These assessments give students the chance to demonstrate skills which cannot be assessed in exams.

The guidance also informs school policies on AI use, and schools and colleges can provide staff and students with clear information.

To provide further support to teachers and students, JCQ have also developed the following materials:

.       Poster for Students – for schools and colleges to use with students to better understand the rules for use of AI in assessments

There is also a document that centres may find useful to share with parents: PDF version
