This week CCEA published Advance Information for the majority of GCSE, AS and A2 exams that will take place in Summer 2023.
Designed to support preparation and revision in the run-up to the summer exams period, Advance Information will provide this year’s students with the broad focus of the content of their Summer 2023 exam papers. It is important for students to note that Advance Information will not include everything that will be assessed in each exam.
The information, which can be used by teachers and referred to by students, will focus on aspects of the examination; for example, the content, contexts, texts, topics, sub-topics, themes and skills that will be assessed in the Summer 2023 examinations. This may be different, depending on the nature and design of the subject and each specification’s assessment arrangements.
LANGUAGES UPDATE – Please note, on 28 February 2023 CCEA published updated Advance Information booklets [Version 2] for GCE French, GCE Irish and GCE German [AS Unit 3 and A2 Unit 3]. For reference, changes from the original text have been marked up in red text on the new versions of each booklet.
