The council enables students to become more actively involved in all aspects of their school life. Representatives on the council are elected annually from each year group and they consult widely with students on ways to make Loreto and even better place to learn. This group liaise with Senior Management on emerging proposals.
This year there have already been many fun opportunities. Belonging to the Student Council is a wonderful experience so far and I am very lucky to be a part of it. I have made so many great, new friends and everyone is so kind. It is a very open place where you can share your thoughts, ideas and opinions freely.- Aeabh

The Student Council has definitely helped my self-confidence and has given me various opportunities such as becoming a member of the Shared Student Council. This year, I am looking forward to attending more Shared Student Council meetings and putting action to all our ideas. -Eva
I have been in the Student Council since 2020. It has been a great experience so far. Last year we didn’t have the ability to do much due the Covid 19 restrictions, but this year so far has been lovely as we hosted great Charity Christmas Market for everyone and it was very successful. -Aimee
