VACANCY NOTICE
Applications are invited for the following post in the school:
JOB TITLE: Omagh Learning Community Co-ordinator
DURATION: Permanent
SALARY: The successful candidate will be paid on MPS3 (pro rata) for the two days/12.96 hours occupied for this role.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Applicants must at the closing date for applications:
1) Be qualified teachers as recognised by the Department of Education to teach in grant-aided schools;
2) Have at least 2 years’ experience, gained within the last 7 years of working in a post related to teaching and learning (within phases relevant to the post), related to staff or curriculum development. Employment in an advisory and/or support role within the education service will be taken into account under this criterion;
3) Have experience in the use of a range of ICT applications relevant to a leadership role.
Desirable criteria:
1. Demonstrate a minimum of 1 years’ experience of managing whole school curriculum or pastoral issues.
2. Demonstrable experience of working with and coordinating groups of teaching professionals.
3. Demonstrable experience of delivering staff INSET and/or leading an area of Pastoral Care or Curriculum Development.
Applicants must have access to transport in order to meet the requirements of the post in full.

Loreto To Lusaka Fundraising Events
Our volunteer team are busy organising wonderful fundraising events to help build a new Home Economic’s classroom in the Tyrone Secondary School, Lusaka, Zambia.
Our team will travel to Lusaka in 2024 and are excited to visit and experience the wonderful life and culture alongside The Spirit of Paul McGirr Foundation.
We hope our school community will support these fundraising events to help raise funds for such a worthy project.
