Introduction Key Stage 3 GCSE AS and A Level  

 

The ICT department is a dynamic and highly successful department where the needs of each individual student are addressed in the teaching and learning strategies which are implemented.  The members of the department are committed to, and actively promote, the School ethos in policy and practice.

The following subjects are offered to all students

  • Key Stage 3 ICT

1 class per week
  • GCSE ICT

5 classes per week
  • AS/A2 ICT

8 classes per week
  • Keyskills Level 3 ICT

2 classes per week

 

 

Keyskills

Keyskills are integrated into all subjects at AS level.  In 2005 the school achieved Key Skills Centre  Accreditation and was also awarded the Centre of Excellence Award in Key Skills 2005.  A member of staff was awarded the Exceptional Achievement Award for Teacher and Lecturers 2005.
