The Geography Department would like to congratulate Mary Carmel Kearney who achieved the top mark in CCEA GCE Level Geography in the Summer 2008 Examination Series. In recognition of this outstanding achievement, the Royal Geographical Society (with the Institute of British Geographers) has awarded Mary Carmel its prize for Excellence in Geography.
