Members of Department

Business Studies is a dynamic subject area.  The topics studied are closely related to everyday life e.g. money, advertising, recruitment, laws.  The department offers qualifications at Key Stage 4 (GCSE) and Post-16 (‘AS’ in Year 13 is combined with ‘A2’ in Year 14 to give the full ‘A-Level’).

The study of Business can contribute to an understanding of spiritual, moral, ethical, social, and cultural issues by making students aware of the ways in which businesses are managed, and of the use of human and financial resources as well as of the ways in which goods and services are produced and marketed.
